Calling all Bread Lovers

What do you do when you already make the best Authentic Cleveland Sourdough and the tastiest Jewish Rye in The ‘Land? You combine them, of course!

That is what we did here at SOWB–we are now baking our very own Rye Sourdough bread. This bread is full of flavor: breathe it in, take a bite and you will be immersed in a sourdough and rye experience. For the curious: we took our sourdough recipe and added caraway seeds and medium rye flour.

Rye Sourdough will give a bold boost of flavor to your Reuben or pastrami sandwiches. Available in large pans, sliced or unsliced, which is the size of our sourdough sandwich loaf breads.

Featured Items: English Muffins and “Everything” roll and buns!

Introducing our very own English Muffins! At SOWB, our English Muffin dough is hand shaped and folded three times to ensure the light and tender texture of these cornmeal dusted muffins. Though English Muffins are traditionally made with milk or butter, we made our muffins vegan by using almond milk. And we lightly sweeten them with agave.

SOWB Vegan English Muffins are sold by the dozen.

English Muffins

Everything Spiced rolls and sandwich buns are topped with “Everything” seasoning commonly seen on bagels. This seasoning contains: poppy seeds, toasted sesame seeds, dried garlic, dried onion, and salt. Our bakers sprinkle this savory seasoning on top of the egg wash of our challah rolls/buns right before baking. The warmth of the oven brings out all the delicious flavor! 

Everything seasoning will be sold on our challah rolls and buns, which are always dairy free.  They come in a variety of sizes and are sold by the dozen.

Hoagies

Presenting our very own artisan baked Hoagies!

We offer Hoagies in two types of dough: traditional French and lightly sweet Challah. They come in two sizes: nine-inch and seven-inch and are designed for meatball subs or any large sandwiches.

French Hoagies (VEGAN)

Our French Hoagies are characterized by a thin, crisp crust and slightly chewy center. We use a basic lean dough lightly enriched with olive oil, for a crust and crumb as traditional as anything served in France. This Hoagie is vegan, which makes it perfect for any kind of sandwich.

Challah Hoagies

Our Challah Hoagies boast a soft crust with a dark, glossy sheen. The pale yellow crumb is soft and subtly sweet. They are an ideal complement to seafood or vegetarian fillings.
